USM is not opening and receiving unknown error after upgrade from 9.0.2 to 20.1

Issue/Introduction

Hi Team,

  We are getting the below error while opening the USM page in UIM. This issue started after we upgraded from 9.0.2 to 20.1.Please check.

Details:
com.firehunter.ump.exceptions.DataFactoryException : com.esotericsoftware.kryo.KryoException: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 66, Size: 7
Serialization trace:
metricId (com.nimsoft.events.api.model.AlarmSummaryResult)

 

Environment

Release : 20.1

Component : UIM - UMP_USM  and UIM - EMS

Cabi 4.20, Java 1.8, wasp 20.1

 

Cause

USM receiving error when try to open

Resolution

The issue is with ems probe compatibility. The ems probe got updated to 10.24 and which is not working with 20.1. We have downgraded it to ems 10.23 and it fixed our issue.
