Current Port Assets (Customizable) Report in Jaspersoft is showing the ip address as 0.0.0.0

Issue/Introduction

We have run the  Current Port Assets (Customizable) report in Jaspersoft 6.4.3 and when we select the parameter of IP address to be displayed, the report is showing the IP address as 0.0.0.0 in the IP Address Column.

 

Environment

Release : 10.4.x

Component : Spectrum Reporting / Spectrum Report Manager

Cause

These ports that show up as IP Address 0.0.0.0 are not assigned IP Addresses from the device

Resolution

Interface shows up with ip address 0.0.0.0 in the report because the device interface does not have an ip address configured.

The report will not show the device ip as the port ip because this would be incorrect.
