CA 1 Tape Management - Does the implementation of SO14630 require an IPL ?

Issue/Introduction

Is an IPL required to invoke apar SO14630 after it has been applied?

Or can it be implemented with just a LLA refresh and CA1 bounce  ?

Resolution

As per the HOLD information supplied on the APAR, there is no need for an IPL .
