SMG 10.7.3 scanner is inacessible from SMG 10.6.6 Control Center

Issue/Introduction

When updating from SMG 10.6.6 to 10.7.3, if the scanner is updated before the Control Center, the Control Center cannot communicate with the Scanner. This may result in significant delays when loading the default Status page.

Cause

Due to improvements in TLS connection security, when running in the high security FIPS mode, SMG 10.7.3 will no longer accept a lower security TLS connection from the 10.6.6 Control Center host.

Resolution

This issue is resolved once the Control Center host has been upgraded to the same version as the Scanner.

Future releases will enforce an upgrade order where neccessary.
