Export of Device Inventory to CSV fails with 500 Error in DX Netops Performance Management 

Error seen in PCService.log:

      | CSV Page Unhandled Exception
java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: 2

Defect: DE485767

Resolution

1. This issue has been fixed in CA Performance Management release 3.7.18:

Symptom: Export of Device Inventory to comma-separated values (CSV) file fails when invalid character is found in output line that ends with double quote entry.
Resolution: Fixed the comma-separated values (CSV) file export failure when invalid character is found in output line that ends with double quote entry.

2. For DX Netops 20.2.x Performance Management, the fix for this issue is currently targeted for DX Netops 20.2.6 Performance Management 

Note that this is subject to change and there are no release dates that can be provided at this time.

Note that there is a potential workaround that can be applied temporarily if you are unable to upgrade to a fixed release at this time.
