Clicking the help link in the Enforce console shows pages from an older DLP version

Issue/Introduction

After upgrading the DLP Enforce server you notice when clicking on the “Help” icon in the top right corner of the Enforce console that the link takes you to the help centre pages of the previously installed DLP version.

 

Environment

Release : 15.x

Component : Help files link

Cause

The enforce.properties file has failed to update successfully during the upgrade

Resolution

In the ...\DataLossPrevention\EnforceServer\15.x\Protect\config\enforce.properties file, make the changes for your current version as per the example for 15.7 shown below in bold

# UHS Home page for DLP15.7 help
com.vontu.enforce.uhs.defaultPage = home/DLP15.7

# UHS product and context attributes for DLP15.7 help
com.vontu.enforce.uhs.productContext = DLP15.7/DLP

Save your changes, then restart the Symantec DLP Manager Service on the Enforce Server.
