Ability to opt out from MFA on SAAS

Issue/Introduction

We are having an Okta login screen when connecting to Test and Dev. Can we disable the MFA for Test/Dev only on SAAS?

Resolution

• All customer’s environments go through the same OKTA authentication. Hence there will be enforced MFA for all environments.
• If the customer opts in to avoid MFA, we can set that up but this has to be done for all their environments (Prod, Test etc).
• We cannot have different policies for prod and non-prod as the OKTA authentication is same for all environments.
