DLP Agent causing issue with Silk Performer Application

Issue/Introduction

• You are launching Silk Performer with Chrome and the recorder is not capturing website data when the Symantec Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Agent is running.
• Setting exclusions for Silk Performer in the DLP agent config does not resolve the issue.
• After disabling the DLP agent the issue is resolved.

Cause

This is a known issue.

Resolution

A fix has been provided for DLP 15.7 MP1, and is included in Hotfix_15.7.0108.01003.zip, which is available on the Broadcom Download Portal for DLP customers.
