"CERTIFICATE WAS SIGNED BY:" missing in Top Secret

Issue/Introduction

A newly signed certificate does not show  "CERTIFICATE WAS SIGNED BY:" when listing the certificate.

All the other signed certificates show the following information:

PRIVATE KEY SIZE = 2048                                                             
PRIVATE KEY TYPE = RSA                                                              
ALGORITHM = sha256WithRSAEncryption                                                 
NOT BEFORE = 2020/03/06  00:00:00 UTC                                               
NOT AFTER  = 2022/03/06  23:59:59 UTC                                               
CERTIFICATE WAS SIGNED BY:  ACID(CERTAUTH) DIGICERT(FTPROOT)    ==> missing                   

 

 

 

Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : CA Top Secret for z/OS

Resolution

In order for Top Secret to add the "CERTIFICATE WAS SIGNED BY:" to the listing it needs to find the certificate on the secfile.
If the signing certificate was not added to Top Secret then it is unknown and therefore will not add the "CERTIFICATE WAS SIGNED BY:" statement to the listing.
