After applying Identity Manager 14.3 CP2 error when attempting to acquire an AD endpoint

Issue/Introduction

After installing Identity Manager 14.3 CP2 we are unable to create a new AD Endpoint via etautil or provisioning manager. The following error is observed:

"eTADSMaxConnectionsInPool not found in attribute registry"

 

Environment

Identity Manager 14.3 CP2

Resolution

eTADSMaxConnectionsInPool is a new Provisioning Directory attribute added by CP2.

For standalone Identity Manager - ensure to apply 14.3 CP2 on the connector server as per deployment instructions.

For Virtual Appliance Identity Manager - as per https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/symantec-security-software/identity-security/identity-suite/14-3/release-notes/Virtual-Appliance-Release-Notes/Latest-cumulative-patches-for-download.html we should upgrade the Remote Connector (C++) Server to the latest version from the vApp dashboard External Tools menu
