Is CA Datacom 14.0 compatible with CA Datacom Server 11.0?

Release : 14.0

Component : CA DATACOM/DB

Resolution

CA Datacom Server 11.0 both mainframe and client components have been out of support (EOS) since January 31, 2015. See the Release and Support Lifecycle Dates.

CA Datacom Server 11.0 is not compatible with CA Datacom 14.0.
The following error will be issued when starting Datacom Server 11.0:

DSV00031E-Datacom Server incompatible with current version of database.

Datacom Server will need to be upgraded to 14.0.

The 11.0 client software could still be used as it will work with the mainframe 14.0, however, it is no longer supported.
