Issue/Introduction

CA Ideal utility programs @I$RDMEM and @I$SUBMT are unable to read or submit members with more than 399 records

Resolution

Programs @I$RDMEM and @I$SUBMT are very old (pre r2.2) and have been replaced as documented in the CA Ideal for CA Datacom Utility Programs section.

@I$SUBMT has been replaced by @I$EXEC1
@I$RDMEM has been replaced by @I$MEMBR

There is a maximum of about 399 cards with the old programs, they are limited to 32K in total so 399 x 80 is the maximum.
The replacement modules @I$MEMBR and @I$EXEC1 should be used instead. There is now a limit of 32 000 lines with the new modules.
