Shared drive not shows correct value in APM console

Issue/Introduction

 

Concerned about shared drive available space calculation in the APM Console.

Please help us show in the APM console the same value as Window's server Disk value for Shared Drive R.

 

 

Environment

Release : 10.7.0.90

Component : APM Agents  (APMIA)

Cause

Misunderstanding bytes and blocks

Resolution

The APMIA Host Monitoring using Sysedge reports in BLOCKS not BYTES

 

Example 

- Block Size is 64K (See BlockSize(Bytes).)
- Used Blocks  is 1.1 (million blocks). (See Used(Blocks).)
- Number of Total blocks 3.1  (million blocks). (See Size(Blocks).)

R Drive Sysedge
Size of disk 199 GB
Space used 70GB 
R Drive OS
1.1x64=70.4 GB Used
3.1x64=198.4 GB Disk Size

Calculations convert from blocks to GB. (Numbers are rounded)

This shows the reported metrics are correct but are showing  in blocks.
