Issue/Introduction

Unable to access system with: http://nfaserver

Only way to access it is: http://nfaserver/ra

Server object error 'ASP 0178 : 80070005'

Server CreateObject Access Error

/LMW3SVC/1/ROOT/global.asa, line 41

The call to Server.CreateObject failed while checking permissions. Access is denied to the object.

 

Environment

Component : NQRPTA - REPORTERANALYZER

Cause

Strict permissions on the server are restricting Cscript from executing a VBS script referenced in the global.asa file.

Resolution

1. Change the DefaultAppPool, ProxyServices, and ReporterAnalyzerWebSite application pool identities to 'LocalSystem'.

2. Do an IISRESET as an administrator.
