When attempting to use the VIP Manager Forgot your password, an email is sent with the message We are unable to provide you with the temporary password you requested to Sign In to VIP Manager. Contact your administrator for assistance.
- The VIP administrator account is locked or disabled.
- The VIP administrator is a member of a VIP Administrator Group where direct access is disabled. See screen shot below.
In either scenario, contact your organization's main VIP administrator to unlock the account, or for further instructions for accessing the VIP Manager portal. The VIP admins control group policy settings and VIP Manager access.
Note: If direct access to VIP Manager is disabled due to the group policy setting, VIP administrators control access by limiting authentication to VIP Manager through an organization's VIP Enterprise Gateway, Active Directory, single sign-on portal, or other deployed authentication solution. Attempting to change the password from within VIP Manager will result in an error.
