Issue/Introduction

ca_elasticsearch.service fails to start.

In /opt/CA/Analytics/Data/es/logs/elasticsearch.log:

[WARN ][o.e.b.Natives            ] unable to load JNA native support library, native methods will be disabled.

[ERROR][o.e.b.Bootstrap          ] [FJ226TW] node validation exception
[1] bootstrap checks failed

Component : JASPERSOFT REPORTS FOR PAM SERVER CONTROL

Resolution

Customer was using 32 bit (i586) java on 64 bit linux. This meant that it could not load the JNA native library so it could not load the system call filters (seccomp).

Jarvis requries a 64 bit jdk.
