Issue/Introduction

How to configure an alert to send only to a certain group.

Example: Want a particular 'JDBC Connection Pool"  Alert to send only to DBA Group Email 

Environment

Release : 20.2

Component : CA DOI ALARM ANALYTICS

Cause

Use the 'Policy' and link the Channel to the Policy. 

Resolution

 

1. Select the Alarm from OI Alarm Analytics , which you want to send alerts. 

from Over View tab, select " + Policy" at the bottom right hand.  

2. Create a Policy , Give a name, check the filters,  and MUST link 'Notification Channel' contains the email information. 

The Channel specified above step 2, must have the email
