We have configured Spectrum to listen for traps on port 1692. We noticed Spectrum has stopped processing SNMP v3 traps but not SNMP v2c or SNMP v1 traps.
Running a sniffer on the SpectroSERVER system, we see the SNMP v3 traps being received by the SpectroSERVER system but no corresponding event is seen in OneClick.
The same trap sent using SNMP v2c is seen in the sniffer and in OneClick.
Release : 10.2.1 with the 10.02.01.BMP_10.2.101 patch installed
Component : Spectrum Core / SpectroSERVER
This is seen in the lab after installing the 10.02.01.BMP_10.2.101 patch.
Upgrade to Spectrum 10.2.3 and then install the 10.02.03.BMP_10.2.303 patch.
NOTE: As of October 31, 2020, Spectrum 10.2.x is End of Service/Support (EOS). Reference "DX NetOps Spectrum Release and Support Lifecycle Dates".
However, Spectrum 10.2.0 and 10.2.3 are still available on the download page and existing patches are still available for known issues.
This issue is also resolved in the current release of Spectrum.
