After upgrading the Performance Management (PM) and Network Flow Analysis (NFA) systems the Network Flow Analysis Administration Views in Performance Management are blank.
No errors are seen but some Views show a "No Data to Display" message.
The PM System Status page NFA Status View shows the correct NFA environment systems and details.
The key errors from the PC console service wrapper-<date>.log files are:
INFO | jvm 1 | 2020/11/12 14:42:32 | ERROR | qtp534372974-4657 | 2020-11-12 14:42:32,255 | com.ca.im.portal.services.util.BasicAuthInterceptor
INFO | jvm 1 | 2020/11/12 14:42:32 | | HTTP 403: User=<userName>, enabled=true, requestURI=/pc/center/webservice/profiles/
This tells us there is a user authorization failure taking place when the NFA Odata queries are made for the Adminstration Views from PC.
All supported Performance Management releases
After an upgrade of Performance Management new SSO Encryption keys are generated. During first full NFA Data Source (DS) synchronization post upgrade the new key is synchronized to NFA.
If the NFA OData Service is not restarted, it will still use the old encryption key and generate these issues.
Restart the NFA OData Service to resolve this issue.
To restart the NFA OData Service take these steps:
If you have Network Flow Analysis as a data source, you must restart the CA NFA OData service:
This information is also found on the "(Optional) Restart the CA NFA OData Service" page of the Performance Management documentation.
