TSS7101E Passphrase Invalid When Logging Onto CICS With Top Secret

Issue/Introduction

When testing passphrases, in TSO they work, but when trying to logon to CICS, a normal password works but the passphrase is not working. Passphrases are being picked up based on the error message returned:

TSS7101E Password Phrase is Incorrect

Resolution

Password Phrases in Top Secret automatically support mixed case. For CICS(CTS): Each terminal must be capable of mixed-case data entry. This is controlled by the UCTRAN definition within the TYPETERM CICS RDO definition used for terminal autoinstall processing or by the UCTRAN definition for TERMINAL.
