When he tries to install the SCM Agent and Client on a Windows server, the Agent install succeeds but the Client install hangs.

We uninstalled all components (Enterprise Communicator first), rebooted, deleted the folders and did the install again. This time the Agent installed correctly as it did before, and the Client install got further down the road but still became hung.

We rebooted again to kill the installation and re-ran the Client installation, selecting the "Repair" option. This time the installation completed and appears to be correct. They will test more to be sure.

We tried the same on another machine and saw the exact same problem. Client install hung, we rebooted, re-ran the install and selected "Repair".

Check to be sure the installing user has logged into Windows as a user belonging to the local Administrator group, that he is running the setup.exe and not the msi file, and that he is right-clicking and selecting "Run as Administrator".
