In Monitored Devices, several Metric Families display Discovering for an extended period and do not return to the Supported state.

These Metric Family discoveries are likely in a "stuck" state and this can be viewed by monitoring the discovery bean:
http://daHostname:8581/debug/dispatcher/container/com.ca.im.aggregator.discovery/bean/managedDeviceComponentDiscovery
This will show the current running discoveries so if you view this over a period of time and the device(s) in question remain listed, they are likely stuck.
To clear the stuck discoveries we need to restart the Data Aggregator dadaemon service
Normal Configuration:
systemctl restart dadaemon
Fault-Tolerant Configuration:
/opt/IMDataAggregator/scripts/dadaemon maintenance
Note: This forces a failover to the other Data Aggregator
