Issue/Introduction

DB2 maintenance includes PTF UI67918 / APAR PH18956.  The hold data indicates that "after application of this PTF, the external security system must be updated to use the package owner information provided in the XAPLREL1 field for drop or free package authorization".  

Does ACF2 for DB2 or ENF require anything in order to accommodate this PTF?

Resolution

The IBM fix is related to native DB2 fixing a problem passing information to the security exit.  ACF2 for DB2, and ENF gather it's own needed information to work properly.  Nothing is needed for ACF2/DB2 or ENF.
