Issue/Introduction

How to determine the XCF timeout period? It seems that 300 seconds was used. Want to set the value to higher timeout value.

Resolution

ESP uses its own timer and waits for acknowledgement from the peer.

When implementing ESP XCF SERVICES it uses default timeout of 60 seconds when receiving acknowledgement from proxies. This value can be changed by the XCF SET SERVICE command.

The TRACKING, DSTRIG, ROUTING and SCOREBD services use hardcoded value 300 seconds when sending messages.
