Time limit for ESP job to stay in RUNNING state

Issue/Introduction

Our user wants some JOBs to continue running for as long as possible.

How can I tell how long a job can be kept in ESP running? Is there a limit and what are the down side of this?

Environment

Release: ALL

Component: ESP WORKLOAD AUTOMATION

Resolution

There is no set limit. If only the ESP files especially APPLFILE and TRAKFILE have enough space, it can stay as long as required.
