Issue/Introduction

On the masking screen, after selecting a column to mask and selecting a particular 'Mask Type', some 'Extra Options' are shown.

Here is an example of how the fields 'From Occurrence' and 'To Occurrence' can be used and what values can be entered.

Environment

Release : 4.9

Component : CA Test Data Manager - Fast Data Masker

Resolution

When using the following source as an example:
master john senior

To mask the name john but not the word before the first space and the word after the second space use the following values:
From Occurrence: 1( )
(There is a space character between the round brackets. 1( ) means: mask from the first space)
To Occurrence: 2( )
(This means: mask until the second space)

Using FORMATHASH, the resulting masked value is:
master pmao senior

Another example might be to mask an IP address after the second . (full stop or period character).
