Here is an example of how the fields 'From Occurrence' and 'To Occurrence' can be used and what values can be entered.

When using the following source as an example:
master john senior
To mask the name john but not the word before the first space and the word after the second space use the following values:
From Occurrence: 1( )
(There is a space character between the round brackets. 1( ) means: mask from the first space)
To Occurrence: 2( )
(This means: mask until the second space)
Using FORMATHASH, the resulting masked value is:
master pmao senior
Another example might be to mask an IP address after the second . (full stop or period character).
