TSS9406E PROBABLE SITE INTERFACING ERROR (030) With IBM Print Service Facility

Issue/Introduction

Occasionally, a TSS9406E PROBABLE SITE INTERFACING ERROR (030) is received during the print process on IBM PSFpp (Print Service Facility).
However, since PSF is not batch, there is no Joblog and no error event is output to the TSSUTIL report.

Scenario to duplicate the problem.
1 Stop printer (PRTpp) by $PPRTpp during printing.
2 $IPRTpp to interrupt.
3 Start the printer by $SPRTpp after printer status changed to DRAINED.
4 TSS9406E error.

The print process works normal whole TSS9406E is issued.

Resolution

IBM PSFpp issued a RACROUTE REQ=AUTH with an invalid USER TOKEN address. Top Secret failed the call with the TSS9406E indicating an invalid parameter.
