Issue/Introduction

Description:

The "Common Services" that were installed with earlier CA Vantage releasesare no longer needed or installed with r12.5 and later releases.

Solution:

In CA Vantage releases up to r12.0, there were three FMIDs installed"

  • FMID CCTU620 for Application Components

  • FMID CCTY620 for Common Services

  • FMID SPR1900 for Structured Programming Macros

Beginning with r12.5, FMIDs CCTY620 and SPR1900 are no longer used.

The FMID for the Application changed to CCTUC50 for r12.5 and CCTUC60 for r12.6.

This requires that each new release must be installed in a new zone and eliminates the ability to upgrade to a new release level by applying maintenance as could be done before.
