Issue/Introduction

When we have one of the IP connectors down the Identity Portal application is not working as expected.

It gives only a page with few images and a blank screen.

It seems that stopping the CAIM on one node also stops it on other nodes.

Environment

Release : 14.2

Component : CA IDENTITY SUITE (VIRTUAL APPLIANCE)

Resolution

When stopping the CAIM connector on one node, (node 2 for example), it does not really take down other nodes.  The connectors are not global settings for the whole vAPP cluster. What happens is when you hit IP node 1, The Load Balancer request can get redirected to node 2, and node 2 CAIM connector was the one that was turned off.  This creates the impression that node 1 IM connector went down but it was actually node 2.
