Context Report Tab doesn't maintain View placement when saving Edited Tab

Issue/Introduction

Context Report "Custom View - Infrastructure Management" Tab Edits for View placement are not maintained when the Tab edits are saved.

Go to the "Custom View - Infrastructure Management" Tab on the Context Report for any given device.

Edit it, move Views around, remove some default Views and/or add some new Views. Move them around so they are in different places.

After saving the changes, when the page reloads the Views are not in the locations they were placed in the Edit Tab UI when saved.

All supported DX NetOps Performance Management releases

Cause

Working as designed as an out of box Context Tab does not allow users to override Context Tab pages.

Resolution

Testing has shown this only impacts the "Custom View - Infrastructure Management" Tab for Context Reports.

The behavior has not been reproducible using any other default Tab on Context Reports.

The behavior has not been reproducible using any other new Tab entries added to Context Reports.

At this time the recommended workaround is adding a new Tab and customizing that as needed instead of using the "Custom View - Infrastructure Management" Tab.

Engineering has decided not to pursue a change in behavior in favor of a documentation change to note that this specific Context Tab page can not be altered.
