Monitored Technologies dashboard does not work with cabi_external - An unexplained error has occurred

Issue/Introduction

UIM 20.3 instance with cabi_external 4.20 and Jasperserver 7.11.

cabi_external deployment is successful  and all cabi dashboards work except for Monitored Technologies.

The error "An unexplained error has occurred and the operation failed" is seen in both the Operator Console and Jasperserver-pro (direct logon)

 

Environment

Release: 20.3

Cause

This issue is seen when uim_core_dashboards_pack 2.46 is deployed on the cabi_external robot

Note:  uim_core_dashboards_pack 2.46 is deployed by default since it is included with 20.3 but should only be deployed with Bundled cabi installs. (cabi 4.30)

Resolution

Download uim_core_dashboards_pack 2.45 from the UIM Archive and deploy the package to to the cabi_external robot
