groups in Operator Console intermittently show 0 - nis_server causing permission denied errors in hub.log

Issue/Introduction

In Operator Console, I see the group count intermittently drop to (0) and no groups are seen.

 

The primary hub is showing errors in the logs:

Component : UIM - HUB

Resolution

1. Log into Infrastructure Manager

2. Go to Security->Probe Administration

3. Click "New" to add a new probe.

4. Add nis_server with "admin" permission and IP mask: *

This will be resolved in an upcoming patch (likely 20.3.1).
