Issue/Introduction

Not receiving metric data for most of servers, applied cdm mcs template.

Environment

Release : 9.2.0

Component : UIM - UMP_USM

probe: CDM  6.42 mcs.

Cause

Residual of Alarm Policy like which is filtering most QOS messages generated by CDM. Cleaning up Plugin_Metric.cfg on a particular box, Probe will publish QOS successfully.

Resolution

Because of Alarm Policy and Plugin Metric, QOS messages are not being Published.



With Legacy MCS Template there is no requirement for Alarm Policy and It must not be created.
