Issue/Introduction

Using 12.3.0 AWI and Automation Engine has too many options for the context menu in the "My Catalog" perspective.

Is this a designed change? How to get the same option list as 12.2.4?

Steps to reproduce:

1) Create user with all permissions
2) Add Object to Catalog
3) As user, go to Catalog and right-click object

Execute 
Open 
Add to Favorites 
Executions 
Open Last Report 

12.3.0 Context Menu:
Open 
Execution Options (expandable)
Monitoring (expandable)
Move 
Duplicate 
Replace 
Rename 
Show in Folder 
Search for Use 
Transfer (expandable)
Add to Favorites 
Add to User Catalog 
Create Link 
Delete

Cause

Design change in AWI that has since been updated

Resolution

This behavior has been changed to have a smaller list of options for the My Catalog context menu between 12.3.0 and 12.3.3.  In a 12.3.3 system, the only options in the catalog are:

Open
Execution Options (expandable)
Monitoring (expandable)
Show in Folder
Search for Use

Updating the AE and AWI should allow for a smaller context menu.

Beyond that, limiting the authorizations on the group to have all authorizations except "write" on all objects

and then making sure that "Access to Process Assembly" is deselected under Privileges

will limit the allowed choices to Open (in read only), Execute Options (expandable), and Monitoring (expandable):
