Issue/Introduction

Spectrum models Cisco Catalyst 9800 Series Wireless Controllers with a sysObjectID of 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.2530 using the GnSNMPDev model type. This prevents Spectrum from managing the device using the WLC Manager.

Release : 10.4.2.1 and below

Cause

The Cisco Catalyst 9800 Series Wireless Controllers with a sysObjectID of 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.2530 is not yet certified in Spectrum.

Resolution

Self certify the device to use the GnCiscoDev model type using the Device Certification tool.
