Resolution

Yes a z/OS system symbolic can be used in a MODIFY or START ACF2 operator command. In the following example the IEASYMxx parmlib member specifies SYSCLONE(28) and the MODIFY ACF2 command is concatenating characters 'SY' with the symbolic &SYSCLONE:
