Issue/Introduction

Hi Team,

Can you please help us in answering and locating various features which were available in ASAP in ROC UI.

Release : 6.7

Component : CA RELEASE AUTOMATION CORE

Resolution

Question: On windows server in control-panel- > Program Uninstall/install the agent version is showing 6.3 whereas on ROC UI it shows 6.6?

Answer: The version information in control-panel- > Program Uninstall/install is the installer version which was used i.e. 6.3 or 6.5 to install the agent years back. After that agents been upgraded via ROC or ASAP, which doesn't change the installer version used.

Question: What is the correct way to ascertain version of an agent?

Answer: The correct way to ascertain the version of RA Agent is to look at file /conf/version.

Question: How do we do agent assignment as we were doing in ASAP, now from ROC?

Answer: It can be done via ROC -> Environment -> Agent Assignment.

Question: How to add new test Agents?

Answer: It can be done via ROC  -> Administration -> Agent Groups. From drop down on top left select test and add/remove the agents as test agents.
