Issue/Introduction

Jvm heap used is very high

Environment

• EDR 4.4.0 installed on S550 hardware
• output from CLI command elasticsearch_purge_check includes "jvm heap used" and "take action" on same line, similar to:
  jvm heap used %: 92 take action
  
  
• Other than the high heap usage, the EDR appliance console appears healthy and functional.
• Some SEP clients may appear to de-register from SEDR appliance

 

Resolution

Symantec produced a fix in SEDR 4.5.0. Please upgrade to 4.5.0 to receive the repair.
