Issue/Introduction

Can you confirm Gen programs work with SYSPLEX DISTRIBUTOR option using ECI? 

Resolution

Gen will work in a SYSPLEX environment as we do not do anything that should prevent it from working in a SYSPLEX environment.
We did not write our software with SYSPLEX specifically in mind and we do not exploit SYSPLEX advantages. 

The entry in your commcfg.properties file tells us where your CTG is located and that is all the Gen java runtimes care about. If you point us to a distributor that potentially forwards the request to one of multiple CTGs, Gen shouldn't care as long as the distributor gets the response back to the correct client.
