Will upgrading Open Workbench remove existing open workbench views?

An upgrade, or alternatively an uninstall and reinstall of a newer version of OWB, has the potential to overwrite the 'Views' directory.
To avoid this, prior to any upgrade or reinstall of OWB, first take a backup of the %programfiles%\Open Workbench\Views directory.
Upon completion of upgrade, replace the newly created Views folder with the backup copy.
It is also best practice to retain a copy of the out of the box Views directory in case any problems occur as a result of the copy.
