Deliver - Defined Job/Report Goes to UNDEF

Issue/Introduction

Job/Report correctly defined in Deliver was being processed to View as an UNDEF report. 

Environment

Release : View 12.2

Resolution

The client had the following in their Deliver Jobname Translation Table:

. XYZZZ*** XYZZZ

The jobname in question, XYZZZ310 was being translated to jobname XYZZZ, and job XYZZZ did not have the Stepname and DDname defined in the "Reports for Job" list, so the report was considered to be UNDEF.

As jobname XYZZZ310 had its own definition, which was not being used, it was suggested that the client have the following in their Table:

. XYZZZ310 XYZZZ310
. XYZZZ*** XYZZZ

so that a match would be made on jobname XYZZZ310, matching the report definition, before falling in the table to the next entry, which did not match the report definition.

The client made the change to the table, placing XYZZZ310 ahead of XYZZZ***, and the report in question processed as expected.
