Issue/Introduction

Need to discontinue the use of standard FTP transfers on the mainframe going out or in from external parties.  Please provide instructions on how to setup and use an SFTP connection?

Resolution

Customers can connect to supportftp.broadcom.com using SFTP protocol with the same credentials they use for FTP

Command Line

sftp @supportftp.broadcom.com

In case if customers use thick clients like FileZilla/WinSCP, they have an option to select SFTP and then enter their credentials to connect.
