Events not capturing in CAPC when mapped with Spectrum GC groups

Issue/Introduction

This is for enabling CRC Errors Metrics.

When we apply the threshold profile to the local CAPC group, it works and events are triggered.

But it is not happening when we apply the threshold to a Spectrum global collection group.

Environment

Release : 3.7

Component : IM Reporting / Admin / Configuration

Cause

CRC error metrics are part of the Alternate Interface metric family, and are not synched to CAPC from spectrum.

Resolution

Create a group in CAPC and put all of the devices you need to alert on for the alternate interface metrics, and then apply the threshold profile to the new group.

Or

Use interface metrics not alternate interface metrics and apply it to the GC.
