Memory-use exceeds the machines memory capacity

Issue/Introduction

When deploying the CA Identity Manager (IM) Virtual Appliance (vApp) components an error "Memory-use exceeds the machines memory capacity" is displayed.

 

Environment

Release : 14.x

Component : CA IDENTITY SUITE (VIRTUAL APPLIANCE)

Resolution

When deploying the vApp components the memory usage and availability is displayed.

If you attempt to deploy components and there is not enough memory available to fulfill the request an alert is displayed.  Work with your system administrator to allocate more resources (memory) to the vApp.
