Issue/Introduction

We are deploying robots using nimldr and at one point it asks us to log in to the UIM Server to download the distribution package from the archive.

We would rather not use the administrator for this.  Is it possible to configure an account which can install a robot via nimldr but can't really do anything else?

Environment

DX UIM 20.4.* / 23.4.*

Cause

Guidance

Resolution

Yes - only one ACL Permission is needed:  "Distribution." you may configure an ACL with this and only this permission and it will be able to log in to download the distribution package for nimldr but won't be able to do anything in the product.
