Issue/Introduction

No changes made to an Easytrieve program, but all of a sudden one of the production job failed with the following error:

ABEND=S000 U4093 REASON=00000034

 

Resolution

A USER COMPLETION CODE=4093 REASON CODE=00000034 is usually points to an IBM LE environmental error.
Also in the log there is this message....
IGZ057I An ABEND was intercepted by the COBOL run-time ABEND handler.

Please check you have the correct cobol library in your linklist or steplib. (eg CEE.SCEERUN).
