MSM: CA IPCS is not available for the following site IDs

Issue/Introduction

The Get Latest Maintenance Task for CA IPC 15.1 fails with: 

The product CA IPC - MVS at release 15.1 is not available for the following site IDs:

 

Environment

Release : 6.0

Component : Chorus Software Manager

Cause

The reason for the licensing error message is because the entitlement for the CA IPC product comes with your CA Datacom/DB Product entitlement, therefore you must perform the Get Latest Maintenance Task from under CA Datacom/DB 15.1, not CA IPC. 

Resolution

When you perform the Get Latest Maintenance Task from under CA Datacom/DB 15.1 it will acquire maintenance for all of the product components that are included in the Datacom/DB package, such as CA IPC.
