Cannot delete or remove reports added to the Favorites list in OM Web Viewer 12.1

Issue/Introduction

Cannot delete or remove any reports saved in the Favorites list in OM Web Viewer 12.1. No DRAS authentication messages show any issues.

From the WVTRACE log: 

Internal Exception: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: The DELETE permission was denied on the object 'SUBSCRIPTION_FAVORITE', database 'DVWEB2 ', schema 'dbo'.

 

Environment

• Output Management Web Viewer 12.1
• DRAS

Cause

There is a restriction on the database. The user whose credentials are used to logon to SQL, does not have permission to delete items from tables.

Resolution

Speak with the database Administrator to grant permission to modify/delete from the Tables.
