Issue/Introduction

Can the IMDataRepository_vertica8 directory be removed after upgrading to Vertica 9 on the DX Netops Performance Management Data Repository?

Environment

Dx NetOps 20.2 Performance Management

Resolution

There should now be the  /opt/CA/IMDataRepository_vertica9 directory from the Vertica 9 upgrade/

The /opt/CA/IMDataRepository_vertica9/drinstall.properties should be confirmed to contain the correct information.

Make sure you do not have the data, catalog, or backup directories under the IMDataRepository_vertica8 directory.

Once the above is confirmed the /opt/CA/IMDataRepository_vertica8 directory can be removed.
