Issue/Introduction

I have to expand CA7 LOGS file and the new file is allocated to volume of SMST18...from current SMSxxx. Restart of CA7 has somehow complained not finding the LOGS file on SMSxxx...   How do I get CA7 to access the LOGS file on new volume of SMSxxx?

Resolution

Your LOGP and LOGS data sets must reside on the same volume or you will get error message CA-7.750 SASSLOGM - LOGGING ERROR.
